| SPEED2 vs. SPEED3 For many people, the SPEED2 is simply THE kite for lightwind kiting. You might ask: „What can the SPEED3 do better than the SPEED2?“. We gladly explain you that here. The SPEED3 is a completely new development, as you have come to expect from FLYSURFER. Only by starting at ground zero, we can guarantee big improvements in performance and continue to build our lead in the lightwind arena. We strictly followed the wishes and desires of our customers for improving the SPEED2:
Turning performance is now way more agile, and the SPEED3 turns more tightly despite a bigger aspect ratio. This quality can be traced back to the intensive development work, internal structures and profile optimization. The SPEED3 has been given a completely new profile and ballooning (3D shape of the kite when it is completely inflated) thanks to new simulation techniques and software.
These optimizations can be noticed in the stability of the SPEED3 as well. The kite can now be flown relatively passive even in the most gusty conditions without stalls or overflying. In short; more fun with more safety! The SPEED3 has the largest power-up/depower effect that we were able to develop to date. The generations gather The Depower-Performance-Enhancer has also been implemented into the design of the SPEED3. The middle intake valve  can be opened or closed in order to customize the way the kite depowers according to rider preference!The depower of the kite is now noticeably more direct, available at a short depower travel, within arm's reach. This was achieved by means of a shorter bridle system, ultimately contributing to better performance! 
Naturally, our flagship will be delivered with the renowned INFINITY Control Bar. The automatically spinning Quick Release, adjustable bar width and the further-developed Frontline-Safety (FLS) perfectly complements the SPEED3. The SPEED3 includes many other changes in details, such as internal reinforcements which replace the overpressure valves, as well as no-wear parts on the canopy, and two low-maintenance velcro fasteners on the trailing edge instead of the zipper on the back of the topsail...details that will undoubtedly extend the life of your kite!
This is how the SPEED3 has now taken over the crown from the SPEED2. We are certain that we offer a perfectly developed product built with the exact wishes of our customers in mind!
