Flysurfer Snowkite Cup – St. Petersburg

20.Mar.2013:

Last weekend (17.03-18.03), in the snow of St.Petersburg, the 2013 Flysurfer Snowkite Cup took place for the third time. This snowkite race is a one-design class, where every participant uses a Flysurfer Speed kite in size 15m. (In all winds)

Unfortunately not many riders from other countries could take part, mainly because of the WISSA event which took place in the same week in Finland, The organization hopes to welcome more international riders in the next years and offers help with accommodation and visa.

In total 13 races held over three days with wind between 3 and 8 m/s. With beautiful sunny weather, provided epic conditions for snowkite racing. Categories were: Super-Sport (only 15m flysurfer speed) Sport (all flysurfer kite sizes) Snowboard (all flysurfer kite sizes)
